Nico Baars When I bought this, I didn't realise how good it was. This is stunningly beautiful, deep and emotional ambient. Such lovely, endlessly drifting soundscapes. Music for dreamers. So we keep on dreaming. Favorite track: Dream Sequence.

Scubadevils Loving this so much... I listened on a lazy Sunday afternoon recently and it fit the relaxed mood absolutely perfectly. I love long tracks that evolve and suck you in and that is very much the case here. Essential for any lover of ambient music and a definite highlight of 2019 so far.

Berkdrums At some point I heard about Christian Wheeldon’s ‘Canopy Of Stars’ from my friend/ambient-aficionado/walking ambient-encyclopedia Richard Gürtler.. Not long after ‘Waves’ was on my wishlist I heard from the amazing Dutch ambient-label Databloem (Dennis Knopper) that a new (CD)album from ‘Canopy Of Stars’ was up for release as part of a series of special digipack-albums... Meanwhile I am totally blown away by this masterpiece!!! This album is an incredible mixture of top-notch ambient from all corners of the galaxy! To me it feels as if we’re on this incredible journey through deep space and we visit several planets where we enjoy the silence, calming nature and discover new desolate places... in some cases it feels like we’ve been here before.. or it’s as if we don’t want to leave. Christian created a work of art, and I just keep on playing this album over and over.. I just don’t want this journey to end! Kudos also to Dennis Knopper for releasing this masterpiece the way it deserves to be released: a stunningly beautiful digipack! You don’t want to miss out on such a work of art, on all levels! An absolute must-have!!!

Si Matthews At last a follow up to last years stunningly beautiful album 'Waves'. This one goes even deeper (if that were possible). Again we find 4 long form tracks of beautifully crafted ambience which take you on a journey to far away lands. You can hear the passion, time and effort that has gone into making this album and there isn't a sound out of place. Hear how beautiful ambient music is still being made long after the sad demise of the Fax label.

The second full-length Canopy of Stars album. When this material was recorded the mood seemed right to create calming, deep ambient that could be listened to in the hour before sleeping and dreaming. The music presented here is a natural conclusion for a direction that I have been working towards for the last two years.
